Friday is here, and the weekend is upon us. The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting long. Getting up early in the AM really shows it. It is so peaceful in the morning.

I have a small handful of Air Racing posters. This 1928 Los Angeles Air Races Poster Print is a pretty cool one. I have 6 air racing posters in all , two from LA, one New York, one Chicago, one from St Louis, and one from Cleveland. All ranging from 1925 thru 1933. Each one is just as cool as the other.

The 50′s … a lot of cool posters from this era. Culver City Stadium poster is one of them. With three Model T’s racing around the track on this poster makes it. Racing around the track one of these three T’s does not even have a roll bar, the other two have a small roll bar. It is so amazing to think about the events back then and how exciting it must have been. The Culver City Stadium opened in June of 1924 and was a popular race venue in the 40′s and 50′s. It has since been destroyed.

So one day I just placed some time aside, and busted out the ole digital camera, and started doing what has been long past due. Update the pictures !! And I have to say I am pretty happy considering how quickly I turned them out. At first it took some time to get my grove back on with PhotoShop once again, but once I was in it, I was really into it. I still have a handful of posters still to update, but I have about 95% of them done. I still have a bunch that I have not listed on eBay or my Amazon Webstore until recently.

I also have listed some posters, that from past car shows and swap meets have been handled too rough. Some beat up torn and ripped prints that I think someone would love to have up in the garage. Those posters went to the auction block on ebay. It is very time consuming , taking pictures of the flaws and writing about  the damages, but it is fun. I really enjoy the artwork of all the posters.

These poster pictures turned out really great, this 1962 Ascot is a very popular print, and now looks almost as good online as the print . The blog, ebay store , and amazon webstore will look more cleaner and uniform with these new pix.
